falling for you 101

they said id fall for you because we like the same things,

because we'll look good together,

because it just might be possible..

they say id fall for you because you will woo me,

sweep me off my feet,

pursue me...

is that how really?

coz,

i say, id fall for you because you'll open the door for me,

hug me (even in public),

make me smile when im feeling lonely

stay with  me when im melancholic

i say id fall for you because you'd let me sit on the hood of your car

you'd complain how your neck is hurting while pointing out the stars that light up our night sky.

id say id fall for you because you will understand my mood swings,

my fickleness,

my contradictions, my whims

id fall in love with you because you will let me.. 

because you will encourage me by making me feel that im the prettiest,

the most important,

the one you want to be with always..

id fall in love with you because we'll fall together,

hand in hand,

side by side,

with each other

id fall in love with you because you are man enough,

in more ways than i can ever describe,

even the ways that will break my heart

(and maybe even break us apart)

id fall for you even if im scared 

id fall because i know you're worth it

its all going to be worth the pain..

p.s. above is a three year old musing posted on my facebook notes. was going over my notes and i thought this is nice, let me cross-post this "thing" i wrote three years back :)
